I am thrilled to bring you my newest christmas crochet pattern, the Braided Tree Skirt! I designed and made this tree skirt pattern last year for my own tree, but it was too late in the season to share the pattern. Now it’s all ready to go and its coming to you as a free pattern!
The lines stemming from the center of the tree skirt remind me of braids, which is why I’ve named it the Braided Tree Skirt.
This pattern uses just a couple of simple stitches: single crochet and double crochet. You’ll also use the “front post double crochet” stitch, which is a simple modification of double crochet. Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through it 🙂
