Pattern Info
Construction
You will start with a straight row to form the bottom of the pillow cover. Then, you will work around the starting row to form a round, and will continue working rounds for the length of the pillow cover. Next, you will use your contrasting colors to create a woven effect between the stitches. Lastly, you will place your pillow insert inside and sew up the top.
Sizing
11” across x 11.5” height
Yardage
340 yards of your main color (this is the green for my pillow)
40 yards in 2 contrasting colors
Materials
- Hook: 3.5mm, or hook to meet gauge
- Yarn needle, scissors, 12”x12” pillow insert
Yarn Options
If you want to keep the focus on the woven effect of the pillow, I recommend selecting a tonal (solid) color for your main color, and Tonals for the contrasting colors as well. A variegated yarn too variable might lose the woven strands in the colorway,
